Volunteering Opportunities

We're always grateful for any help that's offered so if you have any spare time please come and see Leanne, or any of the coaches.

CAFE: We always need people to man the kitchen and serve tea/coffee etc, take orders and payment for leotards/tshirts, man the reception desk

COACHING: from the age of 11, our members can start volunteering as young leaders and help coaches while learning many skills.  We also always look for more older volunteers to help with coaching so why not give it a go and see if you'd enjoy it. 

FUNDRAISING: We also need plenty of people to help with our fundraising efforts, where this can be helping find ideas to fundraise or help out on events and competitions with anything such as raffles or cake sales for example.

LOTTO

We currently run a monthly lotto to raise funds. It costs £5 a month paid directly into the club fundraising bank account. The club keeps half the money and the other half goes to that month's winner. On joining, you will be allocated a number and a winner will be drawn out of a hat at the end of each month. 12 people currently participate but the more people that join, the higher the winnings!! Please see one of the coaches if you would like to support the club in this way.

EASY FUNDRAISING

BOOK LIBRARY

We have a library at the end of the cafe area with many beautiful books for all ages. There is a donation bucket there too so if you choose a book or two, please place your donation into the bucket. You can also make a donation via card at the desk too.

 

SECOND HAND RAIL

We have a selection of second hand or donated items, leotards or sportswear at the back of the gym. You can donate your good condition items at the desk or ask to sell them with a pound donation to the gym.
